5th Sheppey - Eastchurch

5th Sheppey Scout HQ is based at the entrance of Dicksons Field - Eastchurch, down Dicksons Walk, Just off the High Street ME12 4DF, behind the Dentist.

Eastchurch is ripe with history, it is the birth place of the Royal Flying Core.  Flight in the UK started at Muswell Manor, Shellness and after 8 months moved up to Sandpits Farm in Eastchurch which is now the home of HMP Standford Hill, Swaleside and Elmley.

Teaching skills for life to young people ages 6-14 in Eastchurch.

Each week we provide Scouting to our members on a Wednesday and Thursday evening.

6-8 year olds are known as Beavers and meet on a Thursday evening from 5.00 until 6.30pm
8-10 year olds are known as Cubs and meet on a Wednesday evening from 6.00 until 7.30pm
10-14 year olds are known as Scouts and meet on a Thursday evening from 7.00 until 8.45pm
14-18 year olds are known as Explorers, further information can be found on the Explorers page

Scouting gives young people, morals, standards and Skills 4 Life through scouting activities.
